SUPERVISORY MANAGERS

This position is full-time.

Your mission:

  • Within your assigned station, you represent the CFL and are the contact person for the public, suppliers and any tenant businesses.
  • You ensure that trains are placed in accordance with the track occupancy plan
  • In the event of a large number of passengers on the platforms, you take the necessary security measures
  • You work closely with the services responsible for the circulation of buses and trains in normal and degraded situations.
  • You work with train controllers and drivers when needed.
  • You take immediate action in the event of an incident/accident
  • You work weekdays, weekends and public holidays with staggered hours over 3 shifts (starting at 5:00 a.m., 6:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m. or 9:00 p.m.) which allows you to avoid traffic and free up time for yourself.

Your profile:

  • You hold a technician's diploma, a successful 3rd year of traditional secondary education or a successful 2nd year of technical secondary education
  • You are fluent in German and French, both orally and in writing, as well as in Luxembourgish orally. Fluency in English is an asset.
  • You are easy to get along with and have a real customer focus.
  • You demonstrate great resistance to stress and know how to manage conflict situations.
  • You demonstrate good adaptability and assertiveness skills.
  • You have initiative and are autonomous
  • You agree to work flexible working hours, even on weekends and public holidays
  • You have a sense of responsibility, you know how to plan and organize your work
  • You follow the instructions and procedures
  • You have normal colour vision, in accordance with current legislation
  • You have the nationality of a member country of the European Union.

Your administrative obligations:

  • You will be asked to provide equivalence of foreign diplomas: remember to submit your application for registration in the register of qualifications to the Ministry of Higher Education and Research now.
  • An extract from your Luxembourg criminal record (bulletin number 3 and possibly number 4), – as well as from your country of residence if you are not a Luxembourg resident – ​​dating from less than 3 months will also have to be presented during the first interview.
